What is the "Optical catalyst"
When ultraviolet light (infrared light) hits the surface of titanium oxide (TiO2), electrons and hydrogens on the surface react with oxygen and water in the atmosphere producing two oxidants (super-oxide anions), hydroxide (OH-) and oxygen (O2).n (O2).
Therefore, the optical catalyst is the action to make other substances (dirt elemnt, NOX, alga etc.)react by utilizing the optical energy.
